Six Lakewood Ranch High seniors announced their intentions to play at the next level during a signing ceremony this afternoon in the school’s media center.

In front of their families, friends and coaches, Dana Hutchins, Quillan Toler, Seth McGarry and Connor Baldwin signed national letters-of-intent while Amber Ozment and Zack Larson both verbally committed to play for the State College of Florida. Ozment and Larson will sign their letters-of-intent during the national JUCO signing day Jan. 15.

Hutchins, a third baseman on Lakewood’s softball team, will play for Morehead State University while Toler, an outfielder, plans to play for the University of North Alabama. McGarry, one of Lakewood’s starting pitchers, will be headed to Florida Atlantic next fall while Baldwin, who lead the boys golf team to the Class 2A state title earlier this month, plans to play golf for the University of Western Florida.
