Four-bedroom Granada home sells for $950,000

James Arcara, Sarasota, sold his home at 1661 Bonita Lane to Steven Dixon and Peggy Allen, Sarasota, for $950,000. Built in 2003, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,330 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.1 million in 2008.

This week’s residential real-estate transactions were recorded between Oct. 31 and Nov. 4 at the Sarasota County Courthouse.

Of this week’s 26 sales, 13 were in Sarasota, seven were in Palmer Ranch, five were in Osprey and one was in Nokomis.

Michael Walker sold the home at 1729 Loma Linda St. to Allan and Martha Horton, Sarasota, for $560,000. Built in 1949, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,552 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2002.

Bungalow Hill
Ray Moore, Sarasota, sold his home at 1042 Pomelo Ave. to Amanda Cattaneo, Sarasota, for $535,000. Built in 1945, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,192 square feet of living area.

Charles and Katrina Lee, West Palm Beach, sold their home at 1106 Pomelo Ave. to Mark and Michele Lipman, Osprey, for $260,000. Built in 1925, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,189 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $475,000 in 2007.

Michael and Maria Dull, Sarasota, sold their home at 1727 N. Lake Shore Drive to Gregory Hanes and Meghan Connolly, Sarasota, for $475,000. Built in 1957, it has five bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 4,123 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $955,000 in 2005.

Vincent Buckwalter, Bradenton, sold his home at 920 Tennessee Lane to Natalie Firnhaber, Sarasota, for $290,000. Built in 1951, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,964 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $99,000 in 1992.

Frank Dewane, as bishop of the diocese of Venice, sold the Unit 29 condominium at 1499 Landings Lake Drive to Holger Dries for $269,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,912 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $138,400 in 1984.
