Lido Key home sells for $1.8 million

Thomas and Dona Blake, of Dublin, Ohio, sold their home at 23 S. Polk Drive to Jon Small, of Mentor, Ohio, for $1.8 million. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,283 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,885,000 in 2004.

This week’s residential real-estate transactions were recorded between Nov. 7 and Nov. 11, at the Sarasota and Manatee county courthouses. Of this week’s seven sales, the top sale, on Lido Key, was the only off-island sale and the only sale to top $1 million. Five of this week’s sales were on the south end, Sarasota County side of Longboat Key, and one sale was recorded on the Manatee County side of the island.

Sanctuary I at Longboat Key Club
Melvyn and Eleanor Glickman, Longboat Key, sold their Unit B-503 condominium at 585 Sanctuary Drive to Gregs and Mettie Thomopulos, of Iowa City, Iowa, for $835,000. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,823 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $594,000 in 1999.

Banyan Bay Club
Vincent and Heidi Bekeimpis sold their Unit 310 condominium at 5265 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Peterssons Holding Corp. for $376,100. Built in 1974, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,460 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $460,000 in 2003.

Bay Harbour Apartments
Maria Pernas and Astrid Monterroso, Weston, sold their Unit 304 condominium at 450 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Russell and Janet Wilkins, Longboat Key, for $360,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,194 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $350,000 in 2009.

The Beaches of Longboat Key-South
Peter and Anna Alonso, of Lancaster, Ohio, sold their Unit 204 condominium at 775 Longboat Club Road to Alan and Laurie Tarter, New York, for $360,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,602 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $275,000 in 1992.

Buttonwood Cove
Charles and Charlotte Beeler, trustees, of Bloomington, Ill., sold the Unit 102 condominium at 3500 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Marcel and Josette Wolfensberger, of Port Washington, N.Y., for $288,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,238 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $315,000 in 2000.

Longboat Beachcomber
Sonia Velasco, Sarasota, sold the Unit 605 condominium at 2721 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Strauss Beachcomber LLC for $199,900. Built in 1970, it has one bedroom, one bath and 675 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $220,000 in 2003.
