Primrose gives thanks with giving

Kindergarten students at Primrose School have been working hard to help the area's homeless.

In recent weeks, children have been doing chores and other activities to earn money, which they used to purchased non-perishable food items from Publix. The students combined their earnings, created a shopping list and picked out their donations can by can during a field trip to the grocery store Nov. 22.

Donations were given to the Community Coalition on Homelessness.

The event was part of Primrose's "Caring and Giving" activities.
