Bird Key home sells for $1,625,000

George and Loren Palermo sold their home at 677 N. Owl Drive, on Bird Key, to French River LP for $1,625,000. Built in 2003, it has five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,868 square feet of living area.

This week’s residential real-estate transactions were recorded Nov. 14 to Nov. 18.

Of this week’s eight sales, two were for more than $1 million. Five took place on the Sarasota County side of Longboat Key; one was on the Manatee County side; and one each was recorded on Bird and Lido keys.

Coquina Beach
George Maurizi and Gayle Uhlenburg sold their home at 3029 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Randolph and Alicia Cohen, of Tulsa, Okla., for $1.29 million. Built in 1953, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,104 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $790,000 in 2001.

Sanctuary III at Longboat Key Club
Sonia Daoud, Cincinnati, sold her Unit B-506 condominium at 545 Sanctuary Drive to Edmondo Giacomelli and Dianne Lezon, of Ontario, Canada, for $720,000. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,375 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $600,000 in 1996.

Sea Gate Club
Gary and Barbara Schuller, of Williamsville, N.Y., sold their Unit 2-D condominium at 2425 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Scott Salick and Rosemarie Salick, trustees, of Nashotah, Wis., for $500,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,470 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $515,000 in 2001.

Harbour Oaks II
Paul and Marjorie Krubiner, of Fairfield, Conn., sold their home at 2326 Harbour Oaks Drive to Thomas and Susan Schaeffer, of Berlin, N.J., for $450,000. Built in 1986, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,396 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $475,000 in 2008.

Fairway Bay
David Brody sold his Unit 237 condominium at 1932 Harbourside Drive to Seneca Realty Co. for $423,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,442 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $423,500 in April.

Sarasota Outrigger
Longboat LLC sold the Unit 5 condominium at 5155 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Scott Ilgenfritz, of St. Charles, Mo., for $225,000. Built in 1977, it has one bedroom, one bath and 624 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $475,000 in 2004.

Lido Royale
Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union sold the Unit 203 condominium at 115 Tyler Drive to Timothy Bokor and Waunita Sawler, of Ontario, Canada, for $135,500. Built in 1979, it has one bedroom, one bath and 766 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $313,000 in 2005.
