FIVE THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT: Scott Pike

1. Up and away. If Scott Pike weren’t a painter, he would want to be an airline pilot. But he wouldn’t be able to legally because he is red-green colorblind.

2. Sell, sell, sell! Pike’s favorite hobby is the stock market. He makes all the calls himself and keeps up with news and business magazines.

3. A grand family. Pike and his wife, Margi, have six children, 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. “We’re populating the Earth,” he says.

4. Reach for the sky! Pike likes doing westerns, but “I don’t know a damn about horses,” he laughs.

5. Movie night. Pike and his wife watch a movie every night. He draws while she writes letters during it.
