A home in Old Oaks sells for $859,000

Jonathan Greene, of Verona, N.J., sold his home in Old Oaks at 926 Indian Beach Drive to Anita Dunn and Ellen Babbitt, of Chevy Chase, Md., for $859,000. Built in 2002, it has five bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,918 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $785,000 in 2004.

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Sept. 26 and Sept. 30 and were recorded at the Sarasota County Courthouse. Of this week’s 24 sales, 10 were recorded in Sarasota; nine took place in Palmer Ranch; four took place in Osprey; and one took place in Nokomis.

Sapphire Shores
Shane Saah, Sarasota, sold his home at 481 N. Shore Drive to Oliver Lindonk and Karen Fay, Sarasota, for $650,000. Built in 1955, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,952 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $105,500 in 1992.
Keith Kaplan, of Cameron Park, Calif., sold his home at 472 N. Shore Drive to Agnelli Group LLC for $365,000. Built in 1950, it has three bedrooms, five baths and 3,977 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $227,000 in 2003.

The Osprey Avenue
Edward and Sheila Zachowski, Sarasota, sold their home at 602 Ohio Place to Timothy Wilson, of Brooklyn, N.Y., for $555,000. Built in 2006, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 3,172 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $595,000 in 2009.

Riverwood Park
Ralph Bryant Jr. and Caroline Lenart, trustees, sold the home at 4955 Riverwood Ave. to Adriaan Van Ballegooijen and Christine Lacki, of Wellesley, Mass., for $525,000. Built in 1952, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,514 square feet of living area.

Tahiti Park
William Phillips, Sarasota, sold his home at 1165 Tahiti Parkway to Ted and Leslie Power, Longboat Key, for $515,000. Built in 1967, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,237 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $45,400 in 2000.

Oyster Bay Estates
Kendra Gallagher, Scott Gallagher, Keith Gallagher and Brenden Gallagher, of Wilmette, Ill., sold their home at 1616 S. Lake Shore Drive to Richard and Kathryn Rosenberg, Sarasota, for $465,000. Built in 1977, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,909 square feet of living area.

1350 Main Residential
Michael Kell sold his Unit 708 condominium at 1350 Main St. to Richard Grimes, Tampa, for $435,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,336 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $481,800 in 2007.

Gulfstream Towers
Joy and Roger Gaff, of Noble, Ind., sold their Unit 1005 condominium at 33 S. Gulfstream Ave. to Andrea Nierenberg, New York, for $245,000. Built in 1964, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,508 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $129,900 in 1993.

Marie Swartzentruber and Soloman Yoder Jr., of Montezuma, Ga.; Irene Weaver, of Greensburg, Ky.; William Yoder, of La Russell, Mo.; Enos Yoder, of Barnwell, S.C.; and Henry Overholt, of Marshallville, Ga.; sold their home at 3460 Estrada St. to Eli Troyer, of Waynesville, N.C., for $225,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,241 square feet of living area.

Susanne Adams, trustee, and Michael Adams sold the home at 4181 Escondito Circle to Randall and Sandra Marks, Sarasota, for $583,700. Built in 1995, it has three bedrooms, two-and-two-half baths, a pool and 3,335 square feet of living area.

Sue Anderson, trustee, and Don Anderson, University Park, sold the Unit 201 condominium at 5214 Parisienne Place to Roger and Marjorie Sonstroem, Sarasota, for $405,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and 2,288 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $466,600 in 2004.

Deer Creek
Jan Sirota, trustee, Sarasota, sold the home at 8458 Cypress Hollow Drive to William and Amy Moore of Adelphi, Md., for $344,000. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths, a pool and 2,745 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $233,000 in 1994.

Lam and Selina Lum, Sarasota, sold their home at 5960 Mariposa Lane to Casey and Debra Johnson of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, for $320,000. Built in 2007, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 2,521 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $521,800 in 2007.

Larry Brown, trustee of Providence, R.I., sold the home at 4140 Via Mirada to John and Charlotte Vacirca of Pleasantville, N.Y., for $310,000. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,429 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $240,900 in 1991.

Nevin Weiner, trustee, Sarasota, sold the home at 3879 Torrey Pines Blvd. to Leticia Snoddy, Indianapolis, for $250,000. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,983 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $114,500 in 1979.

Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 3,821 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $526,400 in 1990.

Meridian IV at Oaks Preserve
Victor and Florence Brooks, Sarasota, sold their Unit 504 condominium at 409 N. Point Road to Beverly Tschuor, Osprey, for $350,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,778 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $620,000 in 2004.

The Villas at Bellagio Harbor Village
Daniel Scales, trustee, of Hinsdale, Ill., sold the Unit H3 condominium at 14021 Bellagio Way to Linda Stuart, Osprey, for $265,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and 2,004 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $690,100 in 2006.
