Tessera condo sells for $3.2 million

John Melk and Karen Palmer-Melk sold their penthouse condominium at Tessera, 500 S. Palm Ave., to Ermon and Linda Pickard, of Savannah, Tenn., for $3.2 million. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 5,780 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,125,000 in 2002.

This week’s 25 residential real-estate transactions took place between Oct. 3 and Oct. 7 and were recorded at the Sarasota County Courthouse. Of this week’s sales, three topped $1 million.

Harbor Acres
Bank of America sold the home at 1344 Harbor Drive to R. Jack Chapman, Sarasota, for $2,275,000. Built in 1949, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 6,322 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $899,000 in 1998.

Bank of America sold the home at 1392 Harbor Drive to John Ebin, trustee, Sarasota, for $1,760,000. Built in 2008, it has five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths and 5,821 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,275,000 in 2006.

One Hundred Central
Jeffrey Villet and Mary Bosco, St. Petersburg, sold their Unit E-711 condominium at 100 Central Ave. to Donald and Georgia Anderson, of Evansville, Ind., for $860,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,173 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $825,000 in 2010.

Laura Sullivan, Sarasota, sold her home at 1681 Bahia Vista St. to Elizabeth Howe, of Levering, Mich., for $430,000. Built in 1935, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,456 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2009.

Aqualane Estates
1620 Shelburne LLC sold the home at 1620 Shelburne Lane to Steven and Maureen Bramley, Sarasota, for $397,000. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,570 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $699,000 in 2004.

Condominium on the Bay II
Basil and Portia Paterson, New York, sold their Unit 1715 condominium at 988 Blvd. of the Arts to Ehab Rafail, trustee, of Ontario, Canada, for $370,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,555 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $153,000 in 1995.

Marquee En Ville
Daniel Hansen, Bradenton, sold his Unit 126-E condominium at 235 Cocoanut Ave. to Graham and Jill Edwards, Sarasota, for $350,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,320 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $675,000 in 2006.

The Uplands
Debra Pitell sold the home at 436 Poinciana Drive to William and Phyllis Childers, Sarasota, for $295,000. Built in 1960, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,418 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $245,000 in 2008.

Phillippi Gardens
Ronald and Barbara Chomko, of Henderson, Nev., sold their home at 2473 Yorkshire Drive to David and Jennifer Wilson, Sarasota, for $250,000. Built in 1963, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,592 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in 2000.

Mark McGlaughlin sold his home at 1836 Ridgewood St. to Tomas Kudera, of the Czech Republic, for $240,000. Built in 1952, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 2,513 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $107,000 in 2001.

Sandor Genersich and Olga Genersich, trustees, Sarasota, sold the Unit 22 condominium at 660 Golden Gate Point to Douglas Olson, Sarasota, for $215,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,359 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $195,000 in 1997.

Nancy Fox and Benjamin Fox sold their Unit 1502 condominium at 750 N. Tamiami Trail to Raad Realty LLC, Sarasota, for $215,000. Built in 2001, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,000 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $355,000 in 2003.

Lucy Holt, trustee, Sarasota, sold the home at 5513 Ruby Lane to David Patton, Sarasota, for $200,000. Built in 1956, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,248 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $158,000 in 2002.

Katherine O’Reilly sold her home at 4984 Flagstone Drive to Michael and Susanne Adams, Sarasota, for $295,000. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,206 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $338,000 in 2004.

Mira Lago at Palmer Ranch
Brooks Carson, Osprey, sold the home at 7130 La Ronda Court to Deborah Riveros, of Sao Paulo, Brazil, for $255,000. Built in 1994, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,372 square feet of living area.

Villagewalk
Frances Havens, trustee, of Lincoln, Calif., sold the home at 5522 Modena Place to Janice and Michael Bradley, Sarasota, for $240,000. Built in 2003, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,534 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $270,000 in 2008.

Lakeside at the Isles of Palmer Ranch
DiVosta Homes LP sold the Unit 102 condominium at 1339 Burgos Drive to Cathleen Lawrence, of McLean, Va., for $206,200. Built in 2008, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,638 square feet of living area.

Graham and Amanda Gochneaur sold their home at 5202 Sand Lake Court to Robert and Monica Hirsh, of Westerville, Ohio, for $850,000. Built in 2005, it has four bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 4,467 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $750,000 in 2010.

Wells Fargo Bank, trustee, sold the home at 794 Lytham Circle to Lars Goransson and Per Goransson, of Helsingborg, Sweden, for $530,000. Built in 2000, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,543 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $699,000 in 2001.

Dorothy Litzan, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., sold her home at 369 Cezanne Drive to Jay Baikal, Osprey, for $368,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,032 square feet of living area.

Southbay Yacht and Racquet Club
ING Bank sold the home at 303 Sea Anchor Drive to Spencer Mack, Ponte Vedra Beach, for $275,000. Built in 1977, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,969 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $415,000 in 2003.

John and Dorothy Funderburg sold their home at 2174 Muskogee Trail to Russell and Nancy Larsen, of Clarkston, Mich., for $432,000. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,833 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $600,000 in 2007.

Alan and Gail Clifford sold their home at 1958 White Feather Lane to Richard and Valerie Cimba, of Latrobe, Pa., for $310,000. Built in 1992, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,107 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $200,000 in 1999.

Kim Larsen, Nokomis, sold her home at 1187 Wyeth Drive to Charles and Frances Harrell, of Lawrenceville, Ga., for $217,900. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,239 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $330,000 in 2004.
