Casey Key home sells for $1.95 million

Charles and Wendy Weiss, of Wilson, N.Y., sold their home at 721 Casey Key Road to Jamie and Marilyn Fraser, of New Brunswick, Canada, for $1.95 million. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 2,564 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,045,000 in 1998.

Also on Casey Key, John and Nancy Moffat, trustees, of Waterford, Mich., sold the home at 325 Casey Key Road to Jamie and Marilyn Fraser, of New Brunswick, Canada, for $700,000. Built in 1947, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 892 square feet of living area.

This week’s real-estate transactions were recorded between Aug. 15 and Aug. 19, at the Sarasota County Courthouse. Of this week’s 15 sales, nine took place in Sarasota; two took place in Palmer Ranch; two were recorded in Osprey; and two took place on Casey Key.

SARASOTA
The Tower Residences
BankUnited sold the Unit 801 condominium at 35 Watergate Drive to Lewis and Sandra Hanan, Sarasota, for $1,405,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,751 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,661,000 in June.

San Remo Estates
Sandra Stamey and Joy Bouverat, trustees, sold the home at 3550 Tangier Terrace to Scott Schechter and Sonia Meisenheimer, Sarasota, for $1 million. Built in 1956, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,285 square feet of living area.

Golden Bay
Robert Valentine, Lakeland, sold his Unit 41 condominium at 166 Golden Gate Point to Bank of America, trustee, for $850,000. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,130 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $575,000 in 2009.

Granada
Aina Segal, Sarasota, sold her home at 1648 Bonita Lane to Matthew Thompson and Jane Cirksena, Sarasota, for $492,500. Built in 1955, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,124 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $477,000 in 2000.

Embassy House
Christopher and Annette Kroha, Winter Park, sold their Unit 803 condominium at 770 S. Palm Ave. to Joan Langbord, Sarasota, for $300,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,284 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $490,000 in 2007.

South Gate
Maria Llovio and Catherine Randazzo sold their home at 2601 Jefferson Circle to Ellen Bernfeld, Sarasota, for $280,000. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,305 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $223,000 in 2004.

Forest Lakes Country Club Estates
Lloyd and Ann Eggers sold their home at 3352 Sea View St. to Myron and Wilma Miller, of Shipshewana, Ind., for $240,000. Built in 1969, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,828 square feet of living area.

Versailles
Kristen Beury, Sarasota, sold her Unit 1A condominium at 605 S. Gulfstream Ave. to Amy Glasow, Bradenton, for $210,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,504 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $435,000 in 2007.

Ridgewood
John and Judith Strerrett sold their home at 2375 Oak Terrace to Edmunda D’Amrosio, Sarasota, for $208,000. Built in 1973, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,557 square feet of living area.

Deer Creek
Norman and Susan Mitloff, Sarasota, sold their home at 8221 Shadow Pine Way to Jean-Christophe Nadaud and Christiane Nadaud-Kasperzak, Sarasota, for $340,000. Built in 1989, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,428 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in 1998.

Villagewalk
Thomas Barton, trustee, Venice, sold the home at 5373 Eliseo St. to Michael and Patricia Jordin, Sarasota, for $227,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,845 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $344,000 in 2005.

OSPREY
Rivendell
Rosemary Shofe, Osprey, sold her home at 1099 Scherer Way to William and Rosemarie Johnson, Osprey, for $341,800. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,341 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $379,900 in 2004.

Southbay Yacht and Racquet Club
Prewitt Andrews LLC sold the home at 123 Windward Drive to Albert and Carol Amero, Osprey, for $260,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,894 square feet of living area.
