En Provence condo sells for $2.9 million

Jerald Kamiel, of Cresskill, N.J., sold his Unit 6 condominium at En Provence, 2161 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to John and Charlotte Suhler, of Darien, Conn., for $2.9 million. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,400 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3.1 million in 2008.

Of this week’s six residential real-estate sales recorded between Aug. 29 and Sept. 2 at the Sarasota and Manatee County courthouses, the En Provence transaction was the sole transaction to top $1 million.

Harbour Oaks II
Lorraine Buccino, of Burr Ridge, Ill., sold her home at 2332 Harbour Oaks Drive to Hal Schwartz and Connie Schwartz, trustees, of West Bloomfield, Mich., for $445,000. Built in 1986, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,396 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $273,000 in 1986.

The Beach of Longboat Key South
JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., sold the Unit 207 condominium at 775 Longboat Club Road to David and Vicki Justice, Indianapolis, for $315,000. Built in 1984, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,842 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $574,900 in February.

Bayport Beach and Tennis Club
Bernhard and Heidi Meier sold their Unit 744 condominium at 744 Bayport Way to Ravi and Shirley Venkataraman, of Cookeville, Tenn., for $300,000. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,456 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $151,000 in 1993.

Longboat Harbour South
Donald Pierce, of St. Marys, Ga., sold his Unit PH-3 condominium at 600 Sutton Place to Jerome Tomaino, Longboat Key, for $290,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 992 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $263,000 in 2010.

Longboat Key Yacht and Tennis Club
Allan Pollock, Lakeland, sold his Unit 6 condominium at 4140 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael and Janice Carrillo, Gainesville, for $217,500. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,144 square feet of living area.
