Patterson's three touchdowns power ODA past Moore Haven

The Out-of-Door Academy sophomore running back Demardre Patterson scored three touchdowns to lead the host Thunder to a 33-6 victory over Moore Haven in district action Sept. 16.

Patterson scored two 11-yard touchdowns in the first quarter to give ODA a 13-6 lead, helping offset a kickoff return by the Terriers.

Senior Brian Ragone hauled in diving 40-yard reception early in the second quarter and later helped lead ODA to a 20-6 lead on a 25-yard reception.

Patterson scored his final touchdown on a 60-yard run in the third quarter to give the Thunder a 27-6 advantage.

Fred Porter scored the game’s final points of the night on a 15-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Evan Wilson.

ODA returns to district action at 7 p.m. Sept. 23 versus St. John Neaumann.
