When playing matches, try and remember these little tips to help you and your partner to stay positive during play.
Whether you are in a winning or losing situation, if you can control your emotions it will make all the difference in ensuring that you come out on top. The most important advice is to remember you and your partner are a team and you are both working collectively towards the same outcome. You want to stay positive and calm for yourself and your partner. Your teammate will feed off of your energy when he or she needs to be motivated and vice versa.
It is also imperative to maintain positive body language at all times. The mood on the court can decline instantly without even uttering a single word. If you can keep control under pressure, you will be well on your way to a positive partnership.
So remember, before you react to any situation on the court try to think back to these suggestions that will result in a fun and stress free match.
