Mustangs finish fourth at Tarpon Invitational

The Lakewood Ranch High girls and boys swim teams both finished fourth in team scoring at the Tarpon Invitational Sept. 24.

Danielle Valley finished first in the 500-meter freestyle and second in the 200 freestyle. Will Kazokas won the 100 butterfly and finished second in the 100 backstroke. The girls 200 medley and 200 freestyle took third place and the 400 freestyle relays finished second. The boys 400 freestyle relay finished third.

Twenty-two other swimmers placed in the Top 16 in a field that featured more than 440 swimmers.

Lakewood returns to action in a Tri-Meet against Braden River and Southeast Oct. 11 at G.T. Bray Park.
