Bay Point Park home sells for $1,295,000

Valerie Terris, Sarasota, sold the home in Bay Point Park at 1589 Gulfview Drive to Ralph Miller and Patricia Miller, trustees, Sarasota, for $1,295,000. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 4,114 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $925,000 in 2001.

The following residential real-estate transactions, were recorded Sept. 12 to Sept. 16 at the Sarasota County Courthouse.

Of this week’s 15 sales, eight were recorded in Sarasota County, four took place in Palmer Ranch, one was in Osprey, and two were recorded in Nokomis.

SARASOTA
Desota Park
Darleen and Peter Ros, trustees, Sarasota, sold the home at 1865 Hibiscus St. to Ronald and Elizabeth Sanders, of Vienna, Va., for $880,000. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,470 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $775,000 in 2010.

Bay Plaza
RBC Bank sold the Units 1404 and 1405 condominiums at 1255 N. Gulfstream Ave. to Geraldine Aaron, Sarasota, for $825,000. Built in 1982, the units have three bedrooms, four baths and 3,478 square feet of living area. They previously sold for $1,399,000 in 2005.

Condominium on the Bay
Carmen Rivera, Sarasota, sold her Unit 1515 condominium at 988 Blvd. of the Arts to Antoinette Payne, Philadelphia, for $327,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,555 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $158,000 in 1995.

Forest Lakes Country Club Estates
Donald and Patricia Hilliard, Sarasota, sold their home at 2024 Riviera Drive to Rick and Carol Vaal, Sarasota, for $260,000. Built in 1974, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,966 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $399,900 in 2005.

Pelican Cove
S. David Farr, trustee, and Nada Farr, Sarasota, sold the Unit 201 condominium at 1525 Pelican Point Drive to Diamondlake Inc. for $246,500. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,635 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $237,500 in 1999.
Donald and Patricia Granger, of Oregon, Ohio, sold their Unit 214 condominium at 1601 Pelican Point Drive to Brian and Valerie Logan, Sarasota, for $240,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,320 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $284,000 in 2004.

The Landings Carriagehouse II
Sandra Roedel, trustee, Nancy Krannich and Cheryl Sudderth, Boston, sold the Unit 23 condominium at 4847 N. Kestral Parkway to Howell and Madge Mayo, of Thomasville, Ga., for $220,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,570 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $146,300 in 1994.

PALMER RANCH
Turtle Rock
Berthold and Cynthia Kastel sold their home at 8529 Great Meadow Drive to Jean-Chritophe Nadaud and Christiane Nadaud-Kasperzak, Sarasota, for $315,000. Built in 1995, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,421 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $345,000 in 2002.

Palmer Square West
Victoria Cross D.I.Y & Builders Provider Limited sold the Unit 10 condominium at 3659 Square West Lane to Jeanne Spatz and Harold Kempler, Hollywood, for $275,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,021 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $359,900 in 2004.

The Hamptons
Edgar Roy LLC sold the home at 6242 Sturbridge Court to Carlton and Cecile Griffin, Sarasota, for $254,500. Built in 1998, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,826 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $214,000 in September.

Villagewalk
Donald Andrew, of Holland, Mich., sold his home at 5508 Avellino Place to Mihaela Snyder, of Woodbridge, Va., for $215,000. Built in 2001, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,534 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $162,500 in 2001.

OSPREY
Willowbend
Marilyn Sylvestre, Sarasota, sold her home at 676 Crane Prairie Way to Robert and Susan Kenney and Richard Kenney, Osprey, for $447,500. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,807 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $90,000 in 2003.

NOKOMIS
Laurel Woodlands
Ronald and Diana Manweller, Nokomis, sold their home at 1079 Eisenhower Drive to Maurice and Nancy Halpin, of Tinley Park, Ill., for $297,000. Built in 1995, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,192 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $207,000 in 1999.

Sorrento East
Mark Wellner, Gainesville, sold his home at 408 Rubens Drive to David and Tina Cooper, Nokomis, for $215,000. Built in 1977, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,800 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $9,700 in 1977.
