Blind Pass home sells for $1.9 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between March 19 and 23.

A home on Blind Pass Road tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. James Plodzien, of Long Beach, Calif., sold his home at 9250 Blind Pass Road to Anthony Cocca, of Youngstown, Ohio, for $1.9 million. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,760 square feet of living area.

Midnight Pass Road
Gina Vandroff sold her home at 8419 Midnight Pass Road to Kazem Golshan, trustee, for $750,000. Built in 1958, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,201 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $530,000 in 1994.

Siesta Isles
Equity Trust Company sold the home at 934 Contento St. to Carol Armstrong, Sarasota, for $640,000. Built in 1968, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,064 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $427,500 in 2009.

The Terrace East
Beverly Griffith, George Griffith and Charles Griffith, trustees, of Ann Arbor, Mich., sold the Unit 504 condominium at 5300 Ocean Blvd. to Thomas and Joan LaStrange, of Powell, Ohio, for $605,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,446 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $192,400 in 1990.

Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club
Richard Modras Jr. and Ronda DeBoer, of Portage, Mich., and Dorothy Ford of Allen Park, Mich., sold their Unit 1205 condominium at 5920 Midnight Pass Road to Family Video Movie Club Inc. for $555,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,352 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $323,900 in 1998.

The Moorings
Justine MacDonell, trustee, of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., sold the Unit 5 condominium at 9058 Midnight Pass Road to Alan Stickler, trustee, of Twinsburg, Ohio, for $345,000. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,251 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $490,000 in 2005.

Point O’Rocks Terrace
Peter Konrad and Louise Bonanno, of Saugerties, N.Y., sold their home at 1138 Crescent St. to Rudolph Hein, of Amherst, N.Y., for $285,000. Built in 1972, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,248 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $255,000 in 1999.

Siesta Towers
Peter and Judy Gomez, Sarasota, sold their Unit 9-E condominium at 4822 Ocean Blvd. to Katherine and Rodney Linder, of St. Johns, Mich., for $260,000. Built in 1973, it has one bedroom, one bath and 820 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in 2004.

Sara-Sea
John and Cora Larsen, trustees, of Flossmoor, Ill., sold the Unit 202 condominium at 6708 Sarasea Circle to Susan Rocco and Jean Iannacone, of Ortley Beach, N.J., for $240,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,002 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $284,500.
