Siesta Beach House condo sells for $2.1 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between March 26 and March 30.

A condominium in Siesta Beach House tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Falcon Partners Ltd. sold the Unit 3 condominium at 508 Beach Road to Louis and Denise Colosimo, of Westport, Conn., for $2.1 million. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,695 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.5 million in 2001.

Siesta Hammock
Elizabeth Bowlus, Sarasota, sold her home at 4839 Givens Court to Patrick and Kim Nettles, of Washington, D.C., for $1.55 million. Built in 1994, it has five bedrooms, four baths and one half-bath, a pool and 4,555 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,325,000 in 2003.

Windward Passage
Donna Rueli, trustee, of Hartford, Conn., sold the Unit E-6 condominium at 4708 Ocean Blvd. to Per and Barbara Holme, of Kolbotn, Norway, for $830,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,277 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $981,500 in 2007.

Siesta’s Bayside
Philip and Lindsay Bucknell, Sarasota, sold their home at 757 Tropical Circle to Corundum Holdings LLC for $730,000. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,781 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $720,000 in 2000.

Sara Steiner, guardian, sold the home at 702 Birdsong Lane to Michael Wyatt, of McLean, Va., for $365,000. Built in 1974, it has five bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,627 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $187,500 in 1990.

Siesta Town House
Ann Kingsbury sold the Unit 202 condominium at 4532 Ocean Blvd. to Harry and Diane Van Trees, of Standardsville, Va., for $410,000. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,224 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $418,000 in 2003.

Turtle Bay
Satina Inc. sold the Unit 603-B condominium at 8735 Midnight Pass Road to Mark and Chesla Purtilar, of Copley, Ohio, for $379,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,357 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2008.

Sarasota Beach
Richard Figliuzzi, Sarasota, sold the home at 615 Avenida Del Norte to Veronica Murphy, of Guilford, Conn., for $345,000. Built in 1962, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 987 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $210,000 in 2000.

Sara Sands
Tony Maleki, Sarasota sold the home at 5016 Sandy Shore Ave. to S. James Goldman, of Sarasota, for $310,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,506 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $975,000 in 2005.

Gulf and Bay Club
Malcolm Lazin, of Sarasota, sold his Unit 210 condominium at 5780 Midnight Pass Road to Alyssia and Paul Kapic, of Sarasota, for $250,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,361 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $327,500 in 1995.

Siesta Harbor, Albacore House
Philip and Dorothy Thomas, trustees, of Bangor, Maine, sold the Unit 41 condominium at 1257 S. Portofino Drive to Renato Giansanti and Adele Benham, of Sarasota, for $232,500. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 991 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $124,000 in 1993.

Siesta Harbor, Dolphin House
James and Mary Shrider, trustees, of Gahanna, Ohio, sold their Unit 24 condominium at 1215 S. Portofino Drive to Mary and Lawrence Martyn, of Cissna Park, Ill., for $200,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 991 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $42,000 in 1977.
