The 10U East Manatee River Dawgs captured the Play it Again Sports Championship April 21-22 in Port Charlotte.
The River Dawgs went 4-0, holding their opponents to just two runs in four games. The team defeated the Charlotte Stingrays and the Southwest Florida Eagles in both pool play and the final round to win the title.
Aaron Combs and Robbie Goecker both hit their first home runs and Dalton Buckner also hit a home run.
