Country Club Shores home sells for $1 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between April 9 and April 13. A home in Country Club Shores tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Ceasar and Patricia Millas, Longboat Key, sold their home at 591 Golf Links Lane to Vernon and Liliana Chalfant, Sarasota, for $1 million. Built in 1969, it has three bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and 3,070 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $182,000 in 1985.

Longbeach on Longboat Key
Ruth O’Bryon, trustee, and Roger O’Bryon, Longboat Key, sold the home at 301 N. Shore Road to Maureen Merrigan and Wendisue Bundy, Chicago, for $864,800. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,461 square feet of living area.

The Beaches of Longboat Key-South
John and Agnes Hearn, of Ontario, Canada, sold their Unit 807 condominium at 775 Longboat Club Road to James and Lois Elliott, of Brentwood, Tenn., for $737,000. Built in 1984, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,842 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $690,000 in 2000.

Fairway Bay II
Harold Falls Jr., trustee, of Nashville, Tenn., sold the Unit 313 condominium at 2016 Harbourside Drive to Alan Goldman and Madeline Rubenstein, of Sea Cliff, N.Y., for $520,000. Built in 1984, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,905 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $336,000 in 1997.

Putting Green Properties LLC sold the Unit 436 condominium at 2020 Harbourside Drive to James Barbee, Jennifer Barbee and Gretchen Turnbill, Longboat Key, for $365,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,270 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $475,000 in 2007.

Carl and Lynette Bertolotti sold their Unit 342 condominium at 2016 Harbourside Drive to Robert Boernstein and Helena McGhie, New York, for $330,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,192 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $239,500 in 1999.

Whitney Beach
John and Barbara Thurston, of Ontario, Canada, sold their Unit 101 condominium at 6700 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and Trudy Nelson, of Castle Rock, Colo., for $260,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,361 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $310,000 in 2009.

Kingston Arms
Tri-Key Development Co. LLC sold the Unit 25B condominium at 500 S. Washington Drive to Timothy Bokor and Waunita Sawler, of Ontario, Canada, for $225,000. Built in 1963, it has one bedroom, one bath and 770 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $195,000 in 2004.
