Four-bedroom Indian Beach home sells for $2.5 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between July 16 and July 20. A home in Indian Beach tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Richard and Caren Lobo, of Washington, D.C., sold their home at 3139 Bay Shore Road to Charles and Nancy Parrish, of Sarasota, for $2.5 million. Built in 1992, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,965 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $475,000 in 1995.

SARASOTA
Indian Beach
Samuel Holladay sold the home at 604 42nd St. to Samuel Alfstad, of Sarasota, for $630,000. Built in 1960, it has five bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,607 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $245,000 in 2004.

Main Residential
John Sumner and Jefferson Sumner, of Clive, Iowa, sold their Unit 702 condominium at 1350 Main St. to Stephen Kingshott, trustee, of London, England, for $485,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,336 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $488,300 in 2007.

Shoreland Woods
Wayne and Nancy Sault, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1766 Shoreland Drive to Thomas and Nancy Sarosi, of Ft. Wayne, Ind., for $415,000. Built in 1952, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,480 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in January.

Condominium on the Bay
Robert Sparks sold his Unit 1710 condominium at 988 Blvd. of the Arts to Mary Khan, of Kittery, Maine, for $379,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,555 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $184,000 in 1997.

Alinari
Christopher Birrell, of New Brunswick, N.J., sold the Unit 715 condominium at 800 N. Tamiami Trail to Samy Desouky and Lauri Beranek, of Middleton, Wis., for $360,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,323 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $475,000 in 2007.

Riverwood Park
Gregory and Roxana Pech, of Sarasota, sold their home at 4695 Riverwood Ave. to Scott and Sandra Patton, of Sarasota, for $360,000. Built in 2007, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 3,806 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $373,200 in 2006.

Kevin Dalldorf, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 804 condominium at 435 S. Gulfstream Ave. to Marshall Beck, trustee, of Sarasota, for $335,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,537 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $179,000 in 1994.

Landings Carriage House
Halina Kay, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 52 condominium at 1714 S. Kestral Parkway to Clarke and Sandra Hambley, of Cumberland Foreside, Maine, for $223,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,368 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $131,000 in 1992.

Dorothy Conflenti sold her home at 1749 Siesta Drive to Shane Powell, of Sarasota, for $216,000. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,940 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $480,000 in 2006.

Boatyard Condos LLC sold the Unit 403 condominium at 1552 Stickney Point Road to Michael and Tricia Bosak, of Harrisburg, Pa., for $330,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,270 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $525,000 in 2006.

Franklin Steiner, of Sarasota, sold his home at 1824/1828 Webber St. to Clubhouse LLC for $207,000. Built in 1968, it has four bedrooms, four baths and 1,680 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $61,000 in 1981.

Peter Richards, of Sarasota, sold his home at 3756 Torrey Pines Way to Dawn Donoghue, of Sarasota, for $320,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,133 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $34,500 in 1979.

Turtle Rock
Sofia Valenzuela, of Sarasota, sold her home at 4665 Sweetmeadow Circle to William and Gail Aninowsky, of Matawan, N.J., for $269,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,061 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $219,900 in 2001.

Barbara Beal, trustee, of Brevard, N.C., sold the home at 4480 Deer Trail Blvd. to Michael and Margaret Brenner, of Highlands N.J., for $262,000. Built in 1995, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,091 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $60,000 in 1995.

Joseph North Jr., trustee, of Osprey, sold the home at 849 Mac Ewen Drive to Merrill and Janis Forgotson, of Westport, Conn., for $527,500. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,129 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $677,500 in 2002.

Steven Terrell and Mary Blair sold their home at 263 Park Trace Blvd. to John and Kathy Calia, of Osprey, for $262,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,058 square feet of living area.
