Oyster Bay Estates home sells for $1.2 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Aug. 13 and Aug. 17.

A home in Oyster Bay Estates tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Carlisle and D. Diane Fiers, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1131 North Lake Shore Drive to Clarence and Kimberly Griffin, of Sarasota, for $1.2 million. Built in 1958, it has five bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 4,570 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $140,000 in 1978.

SARASOTA
Lincoln Park on Hudson Bayou
Jordan and Sheila Colby, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1795 Lincoln Park Circle to Neil and Myra Kopinski, of Sarasota, for $1,137,500. Built in 2002, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,612 square feet of living area.

The Landings
Richard Bratton, of Sarasota, sold his home at 1687 Landings Lane to James and Noxie Reese, of Sarasota, for $862,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,227 square feet of living area.

Cherokee Park
Jacqueline Greenberg, of Bradenton, sold her home at 3210 Old Oak Drive to Bruce Mickelson and Linda Leparulo, of Branchburg, N.J., for $665,000. Built in 1995, it has five bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,013 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $890,000 in 2005.

Royal St. Andrew
Jerry Jazwinski, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 1503 condominium at 555 S. Gulfstream Ave. to Glenn and Luz Latimer, of Sarasota, for $637,500. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,252 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $480,000 in 2004.

Condominium on the Bay
Albert Lawrence, of Charleston, W.Va., sold his Unit 612 condominium at 988 Blvd. of the Arts to John and Terri Payak, of Toledo, Ohio, for $610,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,729 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $685,000 in 2005.

Akgun Temizer, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 1006 condominium at 888 Blvd. of the Arts to James and Mary Joseph, of Chapel Hill, N.C., for $435,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,555 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $409,000 in 2003.

Pauline Wolfe, of W. Palm Beach, sold the Unit 606 condominium at 888 Blvd. of the Arts to Jeffrey Brooks and Sally Brooks, of Greene, N.Y., for $352,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,555 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $158,500 in 1982.

Lake Park
Alexander Young sold his home at 1655 Spring Creek Drive to Georgianna Kisling, of Cincinnati, for $570,000. Built in 1959, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,502 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $165,000 in 1995.

One Hundred Central
T&L Estate Properties LLC sold the Unit H-710 condominium at 100 Central Ave. to David and Elise Notestein, of Sarasota, for $475,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,725 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $650,000 in March.

Oyster Bay Estates
Kristy Tingle sold the home at 1625 Field Road to Creig Beaghler and Christine Chwallek, of Washington, D.C., for $400,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,053 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 2005.

Gulf Gate East
Michael Anders and Lynn Manco sold their home at 3660 Kingston Blvd. to Christina Kruse, of Sarasota, for $260,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,050 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $172,000 in 2010.

Gulf Gate Woods
Donald Nopper, trustee, of Virginia Beach, Va., sold the home at 7560 Biltmore Drive to Leslie Gray, of Sarasota, for $245,000. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,621 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $395,000 in 2006.

Broadway Promenade
Jadwiga Krause, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 1220 condominium at 1064 N. Tamiami Trail to Dorothy Gilroy for $200,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,084 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $242,000 in 2008.

Enclave at Silver Oak
Howard and Mildred Lake, of Lady Lake, sold their home at 8849 Enclave Court to Melvyn Srybnik and Kathleen Gurney, of Sarasota, for $600,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths, a pool and 3,185 square feet of living area.

Villagewalk
Marcia Frankel, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 8391 Jesolo Lane to Bryan and Robin Landy, of Minnetonka, Minn., for $405,000. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,008 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $318,500 in 2002.

The Bank of New York Mellon, trustee, sold the home at 7644 Uliva Way to Theresa Govier, of Sarasota, for $352,000. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,008 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $267,700
in March.

Howard and Larissa Green, of Sarasota, sold their home at 7325 Villa D’Este Drive to Leo and Julia Hadley, of Sarasota, for $356,000. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,992 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $310,000 in 2010.

Country Club of Sarasota
Gary and Penny Whalen, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3930 Prairie Dunes Drive to Robert and Mary Hicks, of Princeton, N.J., for $338,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,364 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $329,900 in 2004.

Darrell Aulds, of Hilton Head Island, S.C., sold his Unit 1 condominium at 3631 Square West Lane to Jozef Verbraeken, of Shirley, Mass., for $249,900. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,021 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $399,000 in 2001.

John and Leslie Thomas, trustees, of Nokomis, sold the home at 2036 Tocobaga Lane to John and Laura Carey, of Nokomis, for $550,000. Built in 1997, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,249 square feet of living area.

Richard and Joan Jahr, of Sartell, Minn., sold their home at 2154 Calusa Lakes Blvd. to Nicole Anninger, trustee, of Nokomis, for $375,000. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,684 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $639,000 in 2005.

Polly Scotland, trustee, sold the home at 2131 Muskogee Trail to Jerry and Carole Hoffman, of Sarasota, for $375,000. Built in 1995, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,399 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $78,000 in 1995.

Mission Valley Estates
Steven and Heather Odea sold their home at 1470 Ewing St. to Ross and Susan Walkup, of Venice, for $375,000. Built in 1991, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,402 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $650,000 in 2005.
