First-time Sarasota visit by Celebrity Chef Tour

The Celebrity Chef Tour began in 2004 as a way to bring the unique experience of dining at New York City’s historic James Beard House to cities around the country. Since its inception, The Celebrity Chef Tour has been offering unique, high-end dining events in various venues around the country.

The final event of 2012 will be hosted at Darwin’s on 4th starting at 6:30pm on Wednesday, Dec. 5. This unique culinary convergence will showcase celebrity chefs Ted Mendez, Clay Conley, Pascal Oudin and Host Chef Darwin Santa Maria. Attendees will be treated to a five-course meal with beer and wine pairings throughout. Some highlights of the sumptuous menu include:

• Truffle arancini with cheddar and diver sea scallops with truffle-infused oxtail ravioli
• Wagyu carpaccios butterflied with truffle, caviar and foie gras
• Florida lobster Boca-salata with sweet corn polenta and creole peppers
• Lobster ceviche with fresh mangoes and passion fruit, Amazon pepper infused tuna tartar
• Pisco braised beef short ribs with Andean ratatouille
