+ Janet Bassett travels to Rome to discuss market conditions
Janet Bassett, sales associate with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty’s Longboat Key office, recently traveled to Rome, where she visited the city’s Sotheby’s International Realty office to discuss local market conditions and cross-border marketing between Rome and Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Bassett met with Silvia Ludica, a local expert in Rome who speaks fluent English and has traveled extensively to the United States and Florida, particularly in the past year.

With the European Union debt crisis and weakening euro, Bassett seized the opportunity to present opportunities on Florida’s Gulf Coast to potential European investors, while learning more about potential options available for American investors looking for vacation homes in Italy, according to a prepared statement.
