Oyster Bay Estates home sells for $1.4 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Nov. 26 and Nov. 30.

A home in Oyster Bay Estates tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Kenneth Blau and Lori Blau, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1639 S. Lake Shore Drive to Clyde and Kelly Purmort, of Sarasota, for $1.4 million. Built in 2006, it has five bedrooms, six baths, a pool and 5,290 square feet of living area.

SARASOTA
Avondale
Stephen Russell and Cathy Layton, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1900 Lincoln Drive to Steven and Pamela Baker, of Sarasota, for $1.25 million. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,764 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $434,300 in 1998.

Camino Real
James Carpenter and Kelley Carpenter, of Sarasota, sold their home at 4594 Camino Real to Barry and Clarice Berkowitz, of Sarasota, for $1.15 million. Built in 1989, it has four bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 5,479 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $640,000 in 1998.

McClellan Park
Donald and Peggy Roberts, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1600 Wewa Drive to Paul and Kimberly Strom, of Sarasota, for $787,000. Built in 1990, it has seven bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,350 square feet of living area.

Hansen
Resolute Investments LLC sold the home at 1722 Hansen St. to Johanna Gustafsson and Christopher Pinckney, of Sarasota, for $740,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,722 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $380,000 in January.

One Hundred Central
James Kordomenos, of Sarasota, sold his Unit F-1012 condominium at 100 Central Ave. to Thomas and Cheryl Walker, of Sarasota, for $730,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,532 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $562,000 in 2006.

Kanaya
Kimberly Colgate, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 402 condominium at 505 S. Orange Ave. to Maureen Gebhardt, trustee, of Sarasota, for $655,000. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,600 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $600,000 in 2007.

Burns Court Villas
Janis Krums, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 11 condominium at 1541 Oak St. to David Robert and Sharon Pope-Robert, of Sarasota, for $650,000. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,124 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $552,000 in 2009.

Michele Laspina, of Sarasota, sold her home at 420 Woodland Drive to Dorothy Albright, of Smyrna, Ga., for $260,000. Built in 1952, it has two bedrooms, one bath, a pool and 894 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $112,500 in 1995.

Leslie Talbot, trustee, and John Talbot, of Palatine, Ill., sold the home at 440 Sapphire Drive to Walter Rosengarten, of Miami, for $220,000. Built in 1951, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,467 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $16,500 in 1971.

Gary Clark, trustee, sold the home at 5983 Benevento Drive to Jeffrey Leach and Brenda Cox, of Ingleside, Australia, for $255,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,534 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $412,800 in 2006.

John Leach, trustee, of Englewood, sold the home at 2204 Calusa Lakes Blvd. to Richard and Susan Parker, of Nokomis, for $322,000. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,289 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $390,000 in 2008.
