If you missed the end of the world---this is what it looked like! Thank goodness my hair was rescued by my heroine Kathryn Sutton of Spa Hollywood, just in time for the celebration at the Cock & Bull. The fire was toasty while we snapped Villanova Junction rocking the house with an old-school feel that got people shakin' it! Good vibes all around, as is the norm for this comfy local hang-out.
But first, we stopped down the street to Miller's Ale House at 3800 Kenny Drive for our "last meal," the $12.99 Ossobucco. The phone pic below does not do the slow-cooked, fall-off-the-bone pork shank justice, but I knew I wouldn't have enough time to get the camera out before Petr ate it all. We may just have to go get some more tonight; in fact, I definitely know we are---really, it's that good! Most importantly, our waitress Stephanie was super attentive to the point of reading our minds. Must be a heightened state, end-of-the-world thing, hmmm?
We also spotted our fave light-covered houses: one on the corner of East and Clematis in Sarasota, and the other off Biscayne Blvd. in North Port. They must have a ton of elves helping with all the tiny details. Amazing!
And since the coif now has a life of its own, it is pretty demanding---"The Hair" will be making its debut appearance at the The White Buffalo Saloon's Grand Opening Party on Jan. 12, 2013. Don't miss it!
Happy Holidays and an even better New Year to all from Emarie, Petr and of course The Hair! =)
