Ovation! A Free Arts Event tomorrow in Lakewood Ranch

Lakewood Ranch’s annual celebration of the gulf coast’s cultural assets, Ovation, will be held on Main Street, Saturday, Feb. 4 beginning at 10 a.m. An interesting addition to the playbill this year will be strolling and strategically placed musicians throughout Main Street in offstage areas.

Now in its fifth consecutive year, this fun, family-friendly day is a way to experience the arts in a street festival environment. Ovation is a signature event sponsored by LWR Communities LLC, one that draws enthusiasts from around the Gulf Coast and affords them the opportunity to enjoy the cultural assets of the area in a downtown setting. The local art scene will show its splendor as guests enjoy live performances from the Ovation main stages, participate in interactive booths and browse displays from talented artisans while listening to the melodious sounds of strolling musicians provided by New Deal Entertainment of Sarasota. Attendees will be able to participate in interactive presentations or purchase season ticket packages and take advantage of special offers. All the shops, boutiques and restaurants of Main Street will be open for guests’ shopping and dining pleasure. As a special treat, Polo Grill and Bar will be serving the tasty and beautiful “Encore Cocktail” for the event.
