Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and I’m scrambling for a date. An evening of dancing with my Golden Retriever, crying into a bottle of Pinot noir and diving into a drunken interlude with two men by the name of Ben and Jerry just didn’t sound appealing. My only sensible move was to devise a publicity stunt. Blonde Out of Water, two fellow blonde babes and to be fair, three bombshell brunettes are all in need of a date on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

Originally we each wanted our own date, but I quickly realized after posting this contest that there may not actually be five single guys in this town.  So our loss is your gain: one lucky Sarasota dude gets to be wined and dined by six Sarasota bachelorettes who would all look hot wearing a paper bag.  Trust me on this, guys: you need to enter this contest.  I don't want you to have to kick yourselves once I post the after-pictures.

Us gals will be getting head-to-toe makeovers by the most talented hands in Sarasota. MarkAngel Salon just opened up in their new expanded location above Fleming’s and it’s the hottest salon in the city.  After we're all glammed up, we'll swing by to pick you up.  We'll cruise downtown and feast to our heart's content at one of downtown's swankiest restaurants.  And that's where you come in---you'll help us pick it!  Tell us where you want to eat and why!

After dinner, who knows where the evening will take us. Whether cupid’s arrow finds his target, only fate will tell.
