FIVE THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT: Dave Kostura

Lakewood Ranch resident Dave Kostura is a photography enthusiast and the focus of this week's neighbor's feature. Read more about him in our candid Q&A:

• Kostura has two children and four grandchildren.

• Kostura is a member of the Edgewater Cove Neighborhood Committee, as well as a former president of the Country Club Edgewater Village Association, among other neighborhood accomplishments.

• When Kostura moved to the area in 1999, he and Nan spent the first three months here living on a condo on Siesta Key beach, furthering their love of being near the ocean.

• Over his lifetime, Kostura has accumulated about 1,900 hours in training, technical schooling, seminars and career training.

• Kostura said he doesn’t particularly have a favorite food, but does love steak and potatoes. “Standard guy stuff,” he says. “My wife is an excellent cook, though.”
