Sarasota Beach home sells for $2.5 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Jan. 20 and Jan. 27. A home in Sarasota Beach tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Mi Playa LLC sold the home at 528 Beach Road to Resia L. Rinker Revocable Trust for $2.5 million. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 2,016 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,545,000 in 2009.

Siesta Properties Inc.
Gary and Jill List sold their home at 7239 Plovers Way to Paul and Heidi Anderson, Sarasota, for $910,000. Built in 1987, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,424 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $622,000 in 2000.

Siesta Isles
Edward and Carolyn Farley, Sarasota, sold their home at 5514 Azure Way to John and Cheryl Greenwood, of Ontario, Canada, for $850,000. Built in 1968, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,435 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $962,500 in 2007.

Excelsior Beach to Bay
Stamar Realty Management Corp. sold the Unit 6271 condominium at 6271 Midnight Pass Road to Ronald and Alice Newman, of Ankeny, Iowa, for $535,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,770 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $165,900 in 1988.

Sarasota Beach
Gregory Olson and Maria Olson, Sarasota, sold their home at 447 Avenida de Mayo to Gerald and Laurie Wagner, of Newburgh, N.Y., for $525,000. Built in 1951, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,861 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $289,000 in 1999.

TD Bank, N.A., sold the home at 450 Avenida de Mayo to Sadie’s Beach Place LLC for $217,500. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 860 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 2003.

Fisherman’s Haven
Shelden Taxer, Myrna Taxer, Vicki Taxer King, Greg King and Lori Taxer Lewis, trustees, sold the Unit 701 condominium at 9150 Blind Pass Road to David Huber, of New Albany, Ohio, for $490,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,450 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $830,000 in 2004.

Coquille
Bruce and Nancy Young, of Carmel, Ind., sold their Unit 205 condominium at 1157 Coquille St. to Lance and Sally Luce, of Westport, Conn., for $455,000. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,760 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in 2000.

Sandy Cove IV
Ilse Goesmann, Sarasota, sold the Unit 504 condominium at 4900 Ocean Blvd. to Sergey and Galina Ksendzov, of Chatham, N.J., for $377,000. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,867 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $215,000 in 1992.

Siesta Manor
Windsor Property LP sold the home at 336 Avenida Madera to 336 Avenida Madera Siesta Key LLC for $370,000. Built in 1959, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,118 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $289,000 in 2011.

Siesta Sands Resort
Joseph and Marjorie Popik, of Will, Ill., sold their Unit 310 condominium at 1001 Point of Rocks Road to Marlene Shidler, trustee, of Allegan, Mich., for $318,000. Built in 1988, it has one bedroom, one bath and 858 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $180,000 in 1995.

Turtle Bay
Jonathan Funkhouser, trustee, of Madison, Wis., sold the Unit 106-B condominium at 8735 Midnight Pass Road to Douglas and Rosemary Ferdinand, Sarasota, for $285,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,357 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $145,000 in 1990.
