SCORES: Pirates notch pair of victories

The Braden River High baseball team defeated rival Lakewood Ranch and Southeast Feb. 21 and 22.

The Pirates defeated the Mustangs 10-6. Josh Brabson earned the victory for Braden River, allowing two runs in five innings of work while striking out two and walking two.

Ryan Fischer went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and Dylan Lee went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and two runs scored to lead the way for Braden River at the plate. Kevin Dillingham went 1-for-2 with two RBIs and Eric Schappacher went 1-for-3 with a double and three RBIs.

Braden River followed up its victory with a 12-0 victory over Southeast. Fischer earned the victory for the Pirates, allowing just two hits and striking out three. Fischer also went 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs and two runs scored. Dillingham went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, Kelly Machuca went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and Ryan Dyson went 2-for-4 with a run scored.
