Edgewater home tops weekly sales

The following residential real estate transactions took place between January 2 and January 6.

A home in Edgewater tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Meyer Grojean, trustee, of Leawood, Kan., sold the home at 6666 Windjammer Place to Alan Lampert and Lorraine, Henry-Lampert, of Northport, N.Y., for $435,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 2,696 square feet of living area.

Country Club of Lakewood Ranch
Raymond and Janet Cauchi, Lakewood Ranch, sold their home at 7710 U.S. Open Loop to Sharon Pezzola, Lakewood Ranch, for $388,500. Built in 2000, it has four bedrooms, three baths, two half-baths and 2,777 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $256,600 in 2000.

Herbert and Arlyne Hershenson, of Daniel Island, S.C., sold their home at 7176 Whitemarsh Circle to Douglas Fainelli, trustee, of Greenwich, Conn., for $335,000. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,356 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $450,000 in 2005.

Waterlefe Golf and River Club
Mark and Lavonne Dimitroff, Palmetto, sold their home at 9504 Discovery Terrace to Michael Marrs and Donna Marrs, trustees, Bradenton, for $337,500. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,577 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $565,900 in 2005.

Largo Capital Inc. sold the Unit 102 condominium at 6409 Moorings Point Circle to John and Joyce Wharton, of Athens, Ohio, for $310,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and 1,983 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $454,300 in 2005.

River Club South
Robert Kellaway, Sarasota, sold his home at 10211 Silverado Circle to Larry and Joyce Walker, of Lynnville, Tenn., for $295,000. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,074 square feet of living area.

Herman and Susanne Scharf, of Bridgeville, Pa., sold their home at 8741 53rd Terrace E. to William and Mary Harris, Bradenton, for $257,500. Built in 1993, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,806 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $255,000 in 2004.

Rosemay Boren sold her home at 8730 53rd Terrace E. to Alan and Deborah Miller, Bradenton, for $215,000. Built in 1994, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,321 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $134,600 in 1995.

GreyHawk Landing
Community Bank and Co. sold the home at 12467 Natureview Circle to Caravael Brazil LLC for $250,900. Built in 2004, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 2,962 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $363,300 in 2004.

Mandalay
Gary and Jennifer Blake, Bradenton, sold their home at 6138 47th St. E. to Michael and Alison Zuback, Sarasota, for $250,000. Built in 2005, it has four bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,505 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $378,900 in 2005.

Planter’s Manor at Greenfield Plantation
Nancy Bisbini sold her home at 628 Planters Manor Way to William Stubler, of Marstons Mills, Mass., for $250,000. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and 2,514 square feet of living area.

Community Bank and Co. sold the home at 4703 Fourth Ave. Drive E. to Caravel Brazil LLC for $242,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,078 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $269,000 in 2004.

Summerfield
Martin and Sharon Buckley, Sarasota, sold their home at 6448 Fox Grape Lane to Philip Maurer, Lakewood Ranch, for $230,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,019 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $154,000 in 2010.

Old Grove at Greenfield Plantation
Daniel and Marcene Coburn, Bradenton, sold their home at 10514 Old Grove Circle to David and Marilyn Faller, of Byron Center, Mich., for $228,500. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,224 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $162,400 in 1999.

DeSoto Lakes Country Club Colony
Amy and Jason Bumgarner sold their home at 5005 Inverness Drive to Michael and Jaquelyn Hendrix, Sarasota, for $216,000. Built in 1963, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,727 square feet of living area. It sold for $250,000 in 2008.

Denez Lopez, Sarasota, sold his home at 6015 Anvil Ave. to Richard and Linda DePadilla, Sarasota, for $215,000. Built in 1997, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,638 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $184,500 in 2000.

Dean Gleeson, of Goshen, N.Y., sold his home at 4840 Lakescene Place to Larry and Paula Jorge, of Kewadin, Mich., for $207,000. Built in 2002, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,455 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $340,000 in 2006.

Steven Capinegro, Ellenton, sold his home at 5306 72nd Terrace E. to Sidney and Dorothy Borkey, Ellenton, for $340,000. Built in 2008, it has four bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths, a pool and 2,910 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $305,000 in 2009.

Noi Van Nguyen and Linda Nguyen-Pham sold their home at 5784 99th Ave. Circle E. to Lawrence and Anna Petersen, of Lodi, N.J., for $200,000. Built in 2007, it has five bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths and 3,093 square feet of living area.
