The Braden River High girls basketball team fell to Port Charlotte 39-34 Jan. 17.
Erin Donnelly had eight points to lead the way for the Lady Pirates (10-10, 3-6 in Class 7A-District 11).
Braden River returns to action at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at Lakewood Ranch. The Lady Pirates will look to beat their East County rivals for the first time in school history.
