New Sarasota County site live on Monday

Sarasota County Administrator Randall Reid in a June 25 interview with the Pelican Press said the county is committed to technological advancement, and a redesigned government website expected to launch Monday, July 16, furthers that goal.

The front page of the new website boasts the tagline “Sarasota County Excels,” with images depicting the joys of living and working in the county. The redesign was aimed at making the website easier to navigate, and will feature streaming videos and easier access to social media, according to a news release.

The website is currently accessible with limited features in its beta version by clicking on the banner at scgov.net.
