Plaza at Five Points condo sells for $1.1 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between July 2 and July 6.

A condominium in Plaza at Five Points tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Malouf and Therese Abraham, of Canadian, Texas, sold their Unit 12F condominium at 50 Central Ave. to Steven and Lynn Blackledge, of Longboat Key, for $1.1 million. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,356 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $975,000 in 2011.

SARASOTA
Phillippi Landings
Danielle Portnoy, trustee, sold the Unit 701 condominium at 1921 Monte Carlo Drive to Fredrick and Linda Robinson, of Sarasota, for $750,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,793 square feet of living area.

Shoreland Woods
Robin Harrington, of Sarasota, sold the home at 1723 Spring Creek Drive to Jeffrey Smith and Ann Rosman, of Sarasota, for $750,000. Built in 1945, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,671 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2004.

Embassy House
James and Mary Gavin sold their Unit 904 condominium at 770 S. Palm Ave. to Robert and Ann Hurst, of Largo, for $550,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,408 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $189,000 in 1992.

Oyster Bay Estates
James and Doris Goese, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1519 N. Lake Shore Drive to David Graziosi and Susan Gentile, of Zionsville, Ind., for $450,000. Built in 1955, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,826 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $291,000 in 1994.

Landings Treehouse
Barbara O’Connor sold her Unit 34 condominium at 1489 Landings Lake Drive to John and Ann Rogers, of Glenside, Pa., for $325,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,040 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $168,000 in 1996.

Town of Sarasota
Richard and Teresa Garcia, of Tampa, sold their home at 200 Cocoanut Ave. to Martin Garcia, of Sarasota, for $300,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,494 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $344,300 in 2000.

Schooner Bay
Jenny White, of Osprey, sold her Unit 6778 condominium at 6778 Schooner Bay Circle to Anne Sopko, of Rehoboth, Del., for $285,000. Built in 1987, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,250 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $300,000 in 2004.

Landings South
Susan Lewis sold the Unit 103 condominium at 5241 Heron Way to Laurence and Wanda Weiner, of Sarasota, for $242,000. Built in 1986, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,588 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $377,000 in 2005.

River Forest
Linda Benford, of Sarasota, sold her home at 5241 Carmilfra Drive to Julia Archer, of Terrace Park, Ohio, for $230,000. Built in 1959, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,332 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $141,800 in 2009.

Yogendra and Dawn Jani sold their home at 2832 Coventry Way to Samuel Miller, of Sarasota, for $218,500. Built in 1975, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,889 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $135,000 in 1993.

Bank of America sold the home at 560 Crane Prairie Way to Mario Gutierrez and Elizabeth Gutierrez, of Osprey, for $219,000. Built in 2005, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 2,092 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $418,000 in 2005.

Frank and Madeline Praznik, of Sewickley, Pa., sold their Unit 406 condominium at 223 Hidden Bay Drive to Joanne Grimaldi, of Santa Monica, Calif., for $200,000. Built in 1997, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,554 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $215,000 in 1999.
