LRLL ends Section IV Tournament with win

The Lakewood Ranch Little League 11-12 All-Stars defeated South Brandon 12-0 in the final game of the Section IV 11-12-year-old Little League Tournament Sunday, July 22, in Land O’Lakes.

Christian Lowe pitched a complete game for Lakewood Ranch, which had been eliminated from the tournament after suffering losses to Plant City and Land O’Lakes July 21, allowing one hit while striking out four.

Dylan Buck hit a home run in the first inning to give Lakewood Ranch an early lead. Parker Shanahan added a two-run home run in the second inning to give Lakewood Ranch a 7-0 lead.

Adam Strawderman’s two-run single in the fourth inning sealed the victory for Lakewood Ranch. Buck went 2-for-2 with three RBIs and Connor Knapp went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
