Sarasota resident Robert O’Connor recently became a member of the Seven Continents Club, an elite group of runners who’ve completed a marathon on all seven continents. The marathon took place in Rio de Janeiro, and it earned O’Connor a spot on the exclusive list of 249 runners who’ve accomplished the feat since the club’s formation in 1996.
