Members of the Siesta Key Village Association and others will meet for the organization’s monthly meeting tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. at Daiquiri Deck Raw Bar.

Topics will include the advertising effort aimed at nullifying effects of nightly lane closures during the North Bridge renovation project, fundraisers for the Fourth of July fireworks show and the search for a firm to oversee village upkeep.

Sarasota County released a request for proposal for a contractor to maintain Siesta Village last week, a duty the Siesta Key Maintenance Corp. has shouldered since Aug. 15, 2011.

Members will give an update on efforts to encourage the Sarasota County Commission to prioritize the beach renovation project. The county is expected to release a preliminary budget for the 2013 fiscal year on Thursday, June 6, according to a Sarasota County fiscal consultant Karen Fratangelo.

Summer budget talks will include discussion of more than $25 million in current or future spending for public works projects on Siesta Key.
