Manasota Monsters lacrosse team wins tournament

The Manasota Monsters U17 Orange elite travel lacrosse team went 5-0 to win the Palm Beach Blast Lacrosse Tournament June 9 to June 10, in Wellington.

Both the U17 Green team and U13 team also fared well, finishing 4-1 after playing multiple back-to-back games throughout the two-day tournament.

The five Monsters teams will return to action this weekend in the Father’s Day Invitational in Palm Coast.

The teams will play four tournaments throughout the summer, culminating with the Major League Lacrosse All-Star Weekend the weekend of June 30 on the campus of Florida Atlantic University.
