Chapel lends a helping hand in Haiti

Craig Holliday, Bob Million, Sarah Schlesinger, Fred Teeter, Maria Wattleworth and the Rev. Kathi Wiggins, of Siesta Key Chapel, left Saturday, June 23, for a weeklong mission trip to Institution Univers, in Ouanaminthe, Haiti. The group departed from Miami with 600 pounds of supplies — not counting their personal items that they planned to carry on the plane. This is the chapel’s sixth mission to Institution Univers. The group will be supplying critical medical, education and recreational supplies, as well as giving 285 Haitian children a chance to attend a week of summer camp.
