Scores: Lakewood Ranch slugs past Largo

The Lakewood Ranch High softball team defeated Largo 15-0 in a district game March 9.

Huntyre Elling struck out five in two innings and Amanda Rak struck out two and walked one in the final inning.

Jackie Shoff went 1-for-1 with a walk, a RBI and three runs scored and Sierra Schappacher went 2-for-2 with two runs scored an a RBI to lead the way for the Lady Mustangs at the plate.

Kailee Sharp went 2-for-2 with two RBIs. Taylor Newton went 1-for-2 with a triple, a walk, a RBI and two runs scored.
