Athlete of the Week: Eva Dyer

Six-year-old Eva Dyer scored three goals to lead the Braden River Soccer Club “Super Girls” March 18. It was the most goals the Imagine School at Lakewood Ranch kindergartner has scored in a single game. Here is an inside look at this week’s Athlete of the Week.

What did you think when you scored three goals?
I (thought) it wasn’t true, because I usually just scored one goal (in a season).

How long have you been playing soccer?
Since I was 4 years old. It looked like a fun thing to do.

What do you enjoy the most about soccer?
That we have games and that people can come and watch us.

Do you do any other sports or activities?
I do tennis, drama and art.

Do you know what you want to be when you grow up?
A nurse. It seems like a good thing to help people.

What’s your favorite color?
Blue

Who is your favorite Disney princess?
Cinderella. My favorite color is blue, and her favorite color is blue.

Do you have a favorite book?
“Biscuit” books. I can read them by myself.

If you could play one other sport for a day, what would it be?
Cheerleading. It looks like fun, and I want to cheer for Ohio State.

Who is your favorite team?
Ohio State. It starts with “O,” and it has football players in it.

What’s your favorite food?
Girl Scout cookies, (especially) Tagalongs

What’s your favorite toy?
My computer. I like to play “Girls Games Galore.”

Do you have a favorite TV show?
“Austin and Ally.” My friend’s name is Allie.
