Aqualane Estates home sells for $2.1 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between March 5 and March 8.

A home in Aqualane Estates tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. John Lemp, Sarasota, sold his home at 1400 Ridgewood Lane to Phyllis Dorricott, trustee, of Los Altos, Calif., for $2.1 million. Built in 2006, it has four bedrooms, five-and-one-half baths, a pool and 5,198 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.85 million in 2009.

SARASOTA
1350 Main Residential
Susan Kilman, trustee, and Howard Kilman, Sarasota, sold the Unit 1603 condominium at 1350 Main St. to Mirza Agha and Sita Sarna, New York, for $710,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and 2,232 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $709,000 in 2009.

San Remo Estates
Gary and Gina Yee, Sarasota, sold their home at 3711 Tangier Terrace to John Clay and Mary Dailey, Sarasota, for $445,000. Built in 1960, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,135 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $385,000 in 2009.

Phillippi Gardens
Rosalie Silver, trustee, Sarasota, sold the home at 5616 Merrimac Drive to Menashe and Wendy Murad, of Ridgefield, Conn., for $415,000. Built in 1972, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,771 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $181,000 in 1990.

One Watergate
Gina Thomas, Sarasota, sold her Unit 11-E condominium at 1111 N. Gulfstream Ave. to Ralph Cotran, of Fayetteville, N.Y., for $398,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,575 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $355,000 in 2003.

Palm Avenue Villas
Reinhardt and Nancy Van Dyke sold their home at 523 S. Palm Ave. to Robert and Sandra VanLangen, Sarasota, for $319,900. Built in 1998, it has two bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and 1,460 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $670,000 in 2005.

Sylvan Shores
David Noller, trustee, Cape Coral, sold the home at 1100 Sylvan Drive to Howard Higgins, Sarasota, for $275,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,330 square feet of living
area.

Washington Heights
Heather Fortner, Sarasota, sold her home at 2129 Orchid St. to Connie Andrews, Sarasota, for $245,000. Built in 1952, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 2,713 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $175,000 in 2003.

Cityscape at Courthouse Centre
Iberiabank sold the Unit 6 condominium at 1990 Main St. to James Munch, Sarasota, for $225,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,184 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $550,000 in 2005.

The Landings South VII
P. David and Leah Chernov, Sarasota, sold their Unit 204 condominium at 1684 Starling Drive to Mel and Sheila Schmittel, Sarasota, for $222,500. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,775 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $215,000 in 2009.

Danny and Barbara Thompson, trustees, Sarasota, sold the home at 3786 Torrey Pines Way to Charles and Judith Shepherd, of Lexington, Ky., for $430,000. Built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,209 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $320,000 in 2009.

Villagewalk
Lars and Ingrid Jonsteg, of Stockholm, Sweden, sold their home at 5747 Wilena Place to Timothy and Olga Symonds, Sarasota, for $399,000. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,008 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $414,000 in 2005.

Fredrick and Mary Ohsol, of New Bern, N.C., sold their home at 5776 Ferrara Drive to Thomas Bonasera, trustee, of Columbus, Ohio, for $375,000. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,201 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $447,000 in 2005.

Blackburn Harbor Residences
Torre Froehlich, of Brookfield, Wis., sold the Unit 5104 condominium at 5100 Jessie Harbor Drive to Richard Weller and Nancy Weller, trustees, Nokomis, for $330,000. Built in 2004, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,143 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $428,900 in 2004.

Deer Creek
Phyllis Nagle, trustee, of Eureka Springs, Ark., sold the home at 8222 Shadow Pine Way to Gary and Catherine Amato, of Warrenton, Va., for $325,800. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,296 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $255,000 in 2000.

Emerald Woods at Oaks III
Richard F. Shea Revocable Trust sold the home at 210 Turquoise Lane to Owen and Lindsey Thiessen, Osprey, for $250,000. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,085 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $355,100 in 2002.

Marbella
Ivra and John Pearce, Arcadia, sold their home at 6762 Paseo Castille to Carole Green, Sarasota, for $217,500. Built in 1990, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,708 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $192,500 in 2000.

Calusa Lakes
Martin and Gloria Procter sold their home at 2089 Sandhill Lane to R. Scott and Diane Byrne, of Langhorne, Pa., for $435,000. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,973 square feet of living area.

Stella Kiritsy, of Hilton Head Island, S.C., sold her home at 2052 Tocobaga Lane to W. and Iralyn Snyder, Nokomis, for $300,000. Built in 1993, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,920 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $272,000 in 1997.

CASEY KEY
Esther Bick, Michael Bick, Katherine Bick and Eric Lonsdorf, of Richmond, Va., sold their home at 3103 Casey Key Road to CRD Enterprises LLC for $1.45 million. Built in 1950, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,614 square feet of living area.

Melissa and Richard Hall sold their home at 1214 Casey Key Road to Robert Bradbury, Bradenton, for $1.1 million. Built in 1990, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,466 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.4 million in 2006.
