Bird Key home tops sales at $1.15 million

Susan and Paul Stokes, St. Petersburg, sold their home at 524 N. Spoonbill Drive, on Bird Key, to Paul Welch, trustee, Sarasota, for $1.15 million. Built in 1965, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,168 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.15 million in 2009.

This week’s residential real-estate transactions took place between March 12 and March 16.

Veinte
Susan and Richard Davis, of Winchester, Va., sold their Unit 503 condominium at 2675 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Barry and Judith Fireman, of Radnor, Pa., for $660,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,896 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $339,000 in 1996.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
John Clay and Mary Dailey sold their Unit 59 condominium at 932 Spanish Drive N. to William Peterson, Pittsburgh, for $410,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,333 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $300,000 in 2001.

Windward Bay
Mary Tucker sold her Unit PH-1 condominium at 4600 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Anthony and Laurie Martincic, of Chesterland, Ohio, for $330,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,337 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $450,000 in 2008.

Bay Harbour
Edward Haizel, trustee, Longboat Key, sold his Unit 302 condominium at 450 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Jerome Siefman, of Bloomfield, Mich., for $275,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,194 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $118,000 in 1998.
