FIVE THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT: Tim Parker

1. MOVIE MAGIC. Parker’s favorite movie is “Inception.”

2. SWEET TOOTH. When it comes to dessert, Parker loves them all. “I really like sugar,” he said. “It’s all good.”

3. METALHEAD. Parker’s musical tastes include the sounds of groups such as Soundgarden, System of the Down, Slipknot and Korn.

4. FAR-EAST ASPIRATIONS. Of any where he could visit, Parker would choose Japan. “I really like the culture,” he said. “There’s a lot of interesting history.”

5. CLASS ACT. When asked why he enrolled in so many Advanced Placement classes — calculus, chemistry, literature, government and Spanish — he said he wanted to work hard. “I just wanted to challenge myself,” he said.
