Fourteen athletes who trained at Athletic Edge Sports at the Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch were either drafted or signed as free agents in the 2012 NFL Draft.

All of the athletes selected participated in the NFL combine training program, held Jan. 4 through Feb. 28.

“We pride ourselves on offering athletes the best in sports performance training, from programs to coaching to training equipment,” Athletic Edge strength and conditioning specialist Mike Gough said. “This combination allows the athletes to reach their potential physically, while building each athlete’s mental confidence.”

Over the past 12 years, Gough has trained countless elite amateur and professional athletes looking to elevate their sport performance conditioning. The list now includes five NFL first-round draft picks and more than 70 NFL players.
