Sarasota Beach home tops sales

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between April 23 and April 27.

A home in Sarasota Beach tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Daniel and Karen Leonetti, of Sarasota, sold their home at 606 Calle Del Ontono to Marc and Judit Ellingstad, of Dulles, Va., for $455,000. Built in 1976, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 1,720 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $145,000 in 1990.

Island Reef
Charles and Jeanette Worley sold their Unit A301 condominium at 8764 Midnight Pass Road to Saul and Margaret Shorr, of Philadelphia, for $435,500. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,286 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $141,500 in 1987.

Siesta Cove
Mark Collier, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1200 S. View Drive to Dolores Day, of Sarasota, for $435,000. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,568 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $333,500 in 2011.

Casarina
Robert Poynter, of Seymour, Ind., sold his Unit 203 condominium at 5880 Midnight Pass Road to Bonnie Whisman, of Columbus, Ind., for $425,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,498 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $555,000 in 2010.

El Presidente
Isidro Maranan, trustee, of Milwaukee, sold the Unit 505 condominium at 6326 Midnight Pass Road to Michael and Janice Vitch, of Lewiston, N.Y., for $410,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,054 square feet of living area.

Jamaica Royale
Edwin Ceitlin, Margaret Biller, Bonita Nickol and Harold Ceitlin, of Birmingham, Ala., sold their Unit 92 condominium at 5830 Midnight Pass Road to Douglas and Susan McLelland, of Lakewood Ranch, for $319,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 921 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $35,000 in 1976.

Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club
Oleg and Alena Karakulian, of Scarsdale, N.Y., sold their Unit 207 condominium at 5912 Midnight Pass Road to Jon and Antoinette Halsted, of Hamilton, Ohio, for $287,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 830 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $350,000 in 2003.
