Susan Blais and Alan Kasow used to drive down Gulfstream Avenue and stare longingly up at one penthouse in particular. About four years ago, they decided to make a lifestyle change and leave their Siesta Key home.
“The guy who was living here at the time had two blow-up purple couches in the living room and a bed,” Kasow says. “The walls were all painted stark white, and the place looked like a ship.”
The couple, who is constantly traveling and always on a quest for new works of art, spiced up their penthouse at Marina Tower with color and decorated every inch with unique pieces. Although they found the 30-foot-tall circular wall challenging to decorate, they eventually made their wall of art — and the rest of the unit — complete with their favorite finds.
