A Sarasota "Hot Dad" Makes the Semi-Finals in National Contest

All right, so we know Sarasota has the best beach and is a number-one destination for the arts. Since good things usually come in threes---here's another one for you!

A Sarasota dad may soon be voted the "Hottest Dad" in America in a national contest by iVillage.com. Kevin McElyea (okay, yes, he is my husband!) has made the semi-finals in the police/firefighter category. He is the only police officer among five other firefighters, so come on and support Team Law Enforcement! He has already suffered severe ridicule from his friends, and you can imagine his surprise when he was plastered all over the internet as a "Hot Dad" who didn't even know he was entered in the contest.

I readily admit to being quite biased; however, the reason I think my hubby is the hottest is because of how he treats his (our) kids. They are everything to him, and I think that's what makes any dad super hot: loving their children unconditionally and setting an amazing example. So please vote now and vote often! Let's give Sarasota that additional bragging right!
