Four-bedroom Bird Key home sells for $3.6 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Oct. 22 and Oct. 26.

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. David and Lisa Grain, of Sarasota, sold their home at 607 Mourning Dove Drive to Elaine Hargarten, of Fairfax, Va., for $3.6 million. Built in 2002, it has four bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,826 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3,933,200 in 2003.

Beachplace
David and Lucinda Blanford, trustees, of Indianapolis, sold the Unit 203 condominium at 1145 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Christopher and Julia Mee, of Greenwood Lake, N.Y., for $620,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,503 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $835,000 in 2004.

John Geer and Linda Geer, trustee, of Overland Park, Kan., sold the Unit 504 condominium at 1135 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Lawrence Kidd, trustee, of Jackson, Ohio, for $596,500. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,503 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $808,000 in 2004.

Lido Beach Club
Jill Ott, of Wadsworth, Ohio, sold her Unit 406 condominium at 1212 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Robert and Megan Hart, of Cranbury, N.J., for $460,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,421 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $420,000 in 2001.

John Ringling Estates
Ernest and Vicki Webb, of Sarasota, sold their home at 210 Grant Drive to Dale Rieke and Jennifer Acheson, of Sarasota, for $417,500. Built in 1960, it has one bedroom, three baths and 2,001 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $215,000 in 1999.

Fairway Bay
James and Suzanne Greer sold their Unit 312 condominium at 2016 Harbourside Drive to Samuel and Mary Carubba, of Longboat Key, for $289,500. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,192 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $155,000 in 1992.

Sleepy Lagoon
E*Trade Bank sold the home at 541 Edlee Lane to Stuckey and Allen Real Estate Investment LLC for $270,000. Built in 1976, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,764 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $355,000 in 2004.
