Five-bedroom home in Harbor Acres sells for $4.5 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Oct. 29 and Nov. 2.

A home in Harbor Acres tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. James Blin and Judith Blin, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the home at 1374 Harbor Drive to Ali and Gloria Bahaj, of Peoria, Ill., for $4.5 million. Built in 2000, it has five bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,373 square feet of living area.

SARASOTA
Cherokee Park
Gavin Meshad, of Sarasota, sold his home at 1709 Cherokee Drive to Juan Villaveces, trustee, of Sarasota, for $1.6 million. Built in 1952, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 5,267 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.75 million in 2006.

Sarasota Bay Club
Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 213 condominium at 1301 N. Tamiami Trail to Jerome and Myra Goldstein, of Sarasota, for $825,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,772 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $649,500 in 2000.

Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 805 condominium at 1301 N. Tamiami Trail to Delano and Maylu Einess, of Sarasota, for $600,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,546 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $635,000 in 2010.

Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 211 condominium at 1301 N. Tamiami Trail to Dixiana Crawford, of Sarasota, for $400,000. Built in 2000, it has one bedroom, one-and-a-half baths and 1,170 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $292,500 in 2000.

Bayview Heights
Dorothy Coons, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1555 Bayview Drive to Patrick and Pamela Pedonti, of Sarasota, for $435,000. Built in 1948, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,297 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in 2000.

Rivo at Ringling
The Rivo at Ringling LLC sold the Unit 709 condominium at 1771 Ringling Blvd. to Waldemar Wittler, of Venice, for $410,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,442 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $380,000 in August.

One Hundred Central
Paulette Purson, trustee, of Bergen, N.J., sold the Unit C-520 condominium at 100 Central Ave. to Adele Swanson, of Ontario, Canada, for $380,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,114 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $354,000 in 2005.

Towhee Lane
NCM SRQ Properties LLC sold the home at 1831 Towhee Lane to THR Florida LP for $350,000. Built in 1994, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,016 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $275,000 in October.

McClellan Park
Ludwig Byak II, of Lakeland, sold his home at 1731 Cunliff Lane to Andrew and Natalie Tanner, of Sarasota, for $335,000. Built in 1948, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,469 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $56,300 in 1981.

Versailles
John and Diane Gittinger of Norfolk, Mass., sold their Unit 4B condominium at 605 S. Gulfstream Ave. to James and Patricia Clarke, of Sarasota, for $305,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,579 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in 2010.

River Forest
Richard Moyer, of Venice, sold his home at 5210 Palos Verdes Drive to John and Leslie Chadwick, of Lebanon, Pa., for $239,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,607 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $111,000 in 1997.

Shoreland Woods
Zofia Nowakowski, of Sarasota, sold her home at 3424 Old Oak Drive to Brooke and Kathleen Pearson, of Ontario, Canada, for $280,000. Built in 1953, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,368 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $141,400 in 1999.

Strathmore Riveside Villas
Raymond and Kathryn Young, of Sarasota, sold their Unit V-186 condominium at 2532 Riverbluff Parkway to Elaine MacLean and Edward Robichaud, of Sarasota, for $212,500. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,510 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $330,000 in 2006.

Janis Jones, of King, Wash., sold her home at 8864 Enclave Court to Michael O’Rourke and Linda Lombardi, of Denver, for $1 million. Built in 2005, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,382 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.25 million in 2008.

Turtle Rock
Balazs Szabo, of Sarasota, sold the home at 8194 Deerbrook Circle to Robert and Carol Oram, of Sarasota, for $530,000. Built in 1997, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,230 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $421,000 in April.

The Hamptons
Charles Menger Jr. sold his home at 4985 Gardiners Bay Circle to Vernon and Lori Dosmann, of Sarasota, for $435,000. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,303 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $380,000 in 2011.

Deer Creek
Peter and Arleen Seuffert, of Milford, N.H., sold their home at 8145 Shadow Pine Way to Mark and Laquetta Mahoney, of Huntersville, N.C., for $440,000. Built in 1992, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,865 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $390,000 in 2001.

Wellington Chase
Beth Danzinger, of Southbury, Conn., sold her home at 5001 Sturbridge Court to Joshua, Helmuth and Hyatt Haddad, of Sarasota, for $299,000. Built in 1996, it has four bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,139 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in 2008.

Margaret Onergil, of St. Louis, sold her home at 3820 Prairie Dunes Drive to Paul and Kerry Martino, of Lake Orion, Mich., for $360,000. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,060 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $238,900 in 2009.

Linda Fisher, trustee, of Painesville, Ohio, sold the Unit 1206 condominium at 1342 Burgos Drive to Ivan and Iren Sajcic, of N. Royalton, Ohio, for $245,000. Built in 2009, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,045 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $234,500 in 2009.

Villagewalk
Walter and Shirlie Mannini sold their home at 5510 Avellino Place to Karl and Denise Wagner, of Milford, Pa., for $240,000. Built in 2001, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,534 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $164,200 in 2001.

Palmer Square East
Federal National Mortgage Association sold the Unit 2 condominium at 3953 Square E. Lane to Lori Blau, of Sarasota, for $209,900. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,196 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $359,900 in 2004.

OSPREY
Oaks II
Edward and Josephine Pizzuti sold their home at 432 E. Mac Ewen Drive to Solomon Steadman, of Osprey, for $875,000. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,181 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $825,000 in May.

Southbay Yacht and Racquet Club
Patricia Erickson, trustee, of Hummelstown, Pa., sold the home at 1317 Windward Drive to William and Kathleen Aeschliman, of Roanoke, Ind., for $443,500. Built in 1993, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,864 square feet of living area.

Vamo
Michael and Sandra Ferreirs, of Langdon, N.H., sold their home at 8844 Vamo Road to Andre Mros and Jennifer Hornung, of Sarasota, for $245,000. Built in 2006, it has four bedrooms, two baths and 1,914 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $205,000 in 2011.

Rivendell
William Siff, of Sarasota, sold his home at 672 Shadow Bay Way to John Fister, of Sarasota, for $218,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,235 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $216,700 in 1999.

Bay Oaks Estates
Robert Stanton Jr., of Waynesboro, Pa., sold his home at 566 Oak Bay Drive to Sylvia Walters, trustee, of Osprey, for $210,000. Built in 1997, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,559 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $260,000 in 2003.
