Why do you think you’ve seen so much success this season at such a young age?
I really think being on varsity as a freshman last year helped a lot. I gained a lot of knowledge and learned a lot.

What do you enjoy the most about volleyball?
At the end of the night, (that feeling) you have after a win and playing with the team. I enjoy the bonding with the girls and all of the similarities.

What’s your fondest volleyball moment?
Being able to play on varsity and during club season, being a captain. They made me step up my motivation to get better.

Do you know what you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be in the medical field. I would also like to try going far in volleyball — maybe in beach as a professional or to the Olympics.

Do you prefer indoor or beach volleyball?
I like both. I like playing with the team for indoor volleyball. Beach is really different. I like how tired and accomplished you feel at the end.

Do you have any siblings?
I have a younger brother Jack, who is 12 years old.

Do you have a favorite TV show?
“X Factor.” I really enjoy singing. I do chorus here.

If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would it be?
Hawaii. I like the beach and paddleboarding. I think that would be fun.

Do you have a favorite subject?
I like science. I’m in biology this year, and I’m going to (take) marine biology next year.

What’s your favorite iPhone app?
The beach volleyball app. It’s a game where you get to play. You get to jump and spike the ball.
